How Can We Help?
How Does SparkRaise work?
Overview
1. In SparkRaise, everything starts with creating a channel on our SparknShare platform.
Why?
- This adds you to a vast network of channels where you can communicate and collaborate with other channels.
- This allows organisations to create a channel that can be managed by selected SparkRaise users as admins.

SparkRaise Channels are different to SparkRaise accounts.

2. Create a Fundraising Campaign through your Channel
You can now create a Fundraising Campaign through your channel.
Fundraising Campaigns collate all the fundraising activity on this page such as:
- The Amount Raised (By both direct backing and through Fundraising Campaigns)
- The Overall Fundraising Goal
- Who has donated
- Any notices or announcements by the Campaign Creator
3. Fundraisers contribute to Fundraising Campaigns
Fundraising campaigns can be set up by any SparkRaise user.
These Fundraising Pages contribute directly to the overall amount gathered by the Fundraising Campaign. No middle men, cash or bank transfers, just direct contributions.
Why do these two types of campaigns exist?
- Setting up a Master Campaign allows others to have the option of fundraising for your campaign on your behalf. Organisations can now enjoy the benefits of peer to peer fundraising and event fundraising. (Click here to learn more)
- For organisations, a Master Campaign can help display and share a long-term fundraising goal, such as an annual fundraising goal. Whilst the related Fundraising Campaigns created can be made with the objective of contributing to this goal.
Here is an example of an individual creating a Fundraising Page that contributes to a Fundraising Campaign.
